Agricultural fields are becoming larger, and research shows large within-field variability concerning soil types, erosion risk, crop yield, P removal with harvest, and STP levels. Therefore, site-specific management that considers the P loss risk from different areas of a field could be a beneficial practice to reduce P loss, depending on the degree of variability present.
