Description
The Chris Larsen Park Riverfront Development is parallel between Interstate 29 and the Missouri River. It will repurpose land at the former site of a riverboat casino and will eliminate existing hard surface roadways and parking areas, replacing them with open green spaces and recreational facilities. The project will include 3 bioretention cells, soil quality restoration, and 3 acres of native plantings, creating stormwater management practices to reduce an estimated 6,000 cubic feet of runoff.
