Description
The City of Eagle Grove is incorporating permeable pavement street parking, soil quality restoration, and bioretention areas as part of its downtown revitalization project, combining multi-benefit practices with streetscaping elements and aesthetic improvements. This highly visible project leverages funds from a variety of programs including SRF Sponsored Projects and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Opportunities and Imminent Threat fund to install practices that enhance water quality in the Boone River watershed, provide critical pollinator habitat, and complement ongoing downtown revitalization efforts in Eagle Grove.
