Description
The City of Clive is implementing a soil quality restoration (SQR) program, targeting a streamlined approach to improving soil health on 100 existing residential lots. The benefits for Walnut Creek watershed include reducing stormwater runoff and improving water quality by reducing nutrients and sediment. Across the community, many residents have overused fertilizer and watering to maintain turf grass areas. SQR will provide for an improved and sustainable alternative.
