Walnut & Indian Creek Watershed

This watershed has always been a little different in that the willingness of the landowners and producers to participate has always been through the roof. This watershed is in an area where the soils are some of the most erosive in the state, yet still very very productive. It’s really a race against time to preserve the limited and valuable resource. And yes we should promote all of the practices…especially cover crops, terraces, and grade control structures.
